Replying to @johnson Made being Slavic my entire personality and somehow ended up with a TEDx talk 😭 This Friday, October 23, I’ll be speaking at Cleveland State University: “Before I Spoke the Language, I Learned to Make People Laugh.” From barely understanding English to making millions laugh at my Slavic upbringing, I found my voice through comedy - and people from different cultures found themselves in my stories. Humor helps us recognize ourselves in each other before we fully understand each other. Thank you for laughing with me all these years 🦅 @TED Talks #slavicgirl #diva #slaviccore #slavicparents #tedtalk
