No one talks about the anxiety of finding out you’re pregnant after loss. The fear to be too excited is real. We didn’t want to take our children through any more disappointment so we waited to tell them until we could see the baby for ourselves at 9 weeks. The only problem was my belly grew faster than expected and I was sicker than expected so they figured it out before we could even surprise them. I have always promised to tell my children first before anyone else so we kept this secret from everyone for a long time.
