Did you know pigs don't like to be dirty? The only reason they get in the mud is because they can't sweat! The mud acts like sweat and keeps them from over heating. They enjoy weather from 55-75 the most. So in the Texas heat they need mud ponds! And lots of shade.

Pigs are some of the most deep, loving, and empathetic of animals. They feel love, fear, anger, hope, joy, gratitude. They can problem solve. They can connect with you in ways you wouldn't imagine. But it takes TIME. Pigs take time to really know. For them to really trust and feel safe. But it's so worth the time. So very worth the time.
