But I hate the idea that someone newly diagnosed or struggling with their health could come to my page and think, “Oh, Bridget’s having an easy time with chemo.” Or worse, feel like, “Why is it so hard for me?” Please know: I see you. I know what you’re going through. Chemo has challenged me in ways I didn’t know were possible. I don’t want pity. That’s not what this is about. But I do think people walking through this deserve to see the full picture, even the parts I don’t always want to show. So if you’re struggling too, just know you’re not alone. Our beautiful, strong Cam has asked to cut her hair for weeks. She hated waking up to it on her pillow, and was sad to see it come out when we brushed it. We didn’t know how to handle this decision.
